Ryan of the Monocle Project carries the best possible combination of things you want in a family photographer: someone who seamlessly pulls together all the best elements of a scene (your kids' personalities; the backgrounds; the lighting) all while making everyone feel completely at ease. He's a natural with kids and captured the most gorgeous expressions in our family - the same ones I see and cherish from my own perspective when we're all together. Our photos have a dreamy quality to them that capture how I feel about our best moments together in our new home. Past photo sessions with other photographers have felt frantic, strained, rushed, and fussy; this experience with the Monocle Project, by contrast, was a positive and relaxing one, and the photos prove it. Working with Jasmin and Ryan was a pleasure from start to finish! All of my initial correspondence was with Jasmin, and she was always friendly and prompt in her emails. I asked for her advice for a shooting location and she gave me multiple ideas for different places that fit what we were looking for. We met Ryan at the Omni on the day of our shoot. He was also friendly and really easy going. He took his time and was willing to keep taking photos as long as we wanted (however, our children had other plans!). The combination of great people and great photos is what I liked most about working with Jasmin and Ryan. Additionally, we have professional photos taken every year, and we have never worked with a photographer that has given us an entire gallery of fully edited images to keep. It is so nice to have all your photos, and not be forced to choose just one or two. If we are ever in Palm Springs in the future, we would love to work with Jasmin and Ryan again!

Hmm, where do I start with how amazing these photographers are! Not only are they professional and personable during the actual photoshoot process, but they are amazing leading up to and after the shoot also. I am the most non photogenic person I know and am incredibly nervous and shy whenever a camera is around. I had simply called to ask a question before booking, and Jasmin was SO amazing. We ended up speaking forever, like old friends catching up so seamlessly. She never made me feel rushed or anything. She was so informative and such a great listener. I could go on forever with how amazing their level of customer service is. At the actual shoot, Ryan was also so incredible. My family was all over the place- like herding cats. He was very patient and always kept his cool. He made everyone feel important and beautiful. He had amazing ideas for photos and poses, and helped people get into a great position, fixed their hair, etc. Again, I could go on and on. Ryan and Jasmin are such genuine and talented people. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Cannot go wrong with these two!

Our portrait session with Monocle Project was an amazing experience! The setting you chose was beautiful and the mini session was ideal - with our 3 young kids. This was an ideal set-up for our family! This is our 4th family portrait session with Monocle Project, and as always, Jasmin and Ryan, you both are so professional, personal and right on target! I had my portraits taken with them, they had all the set up and included some interesting poses to make it more fun! The couple is both friendly, professional and fun! They made that photo session fun and wanting me to go back. They allowed me to be creative in my poses and gave me some helpful tips. They are so great at explaining the process of their editing and showing me how the photo will turn out.
